Portable
Series Intellect Compatible
The AWS-4000 is a versatile data collection system that allows the
user to track multiple tools and their associated torque readings.
Individual tools can be assigned an alphanumeric serial number, and
each serial number can be assigned to an associated group. The AWS-4000
can be used in automatic (routing) or manual (individual entry) mode.
Utilizing Intellect technology, "smart" transducer calibration
data is automatically accessed. This provides independent calibration
and interchangeability. The auto-recognition feature ensures correct
transducer selection without user intervention.
Up to 500 serial numbers, 64 groups, 8000 total readings may be stored
in the unit at one time. A maximum of 1000 readings may be stored
for one serial number. LEDs on front panel indicate pass/fail readings.
As each reading is entered into memory it will also be sent out the
serial port along with a date/ time stamp. A failure indicator will
follow any readings that are outside of the given limits.
The AWS4000 can be used in Serial Number or Route Mode. In Serial
Number Mode, the operator inputs the alphanumeric serial number assigned
to the tool being tested. Route Mode enables operators to quickly
select serial numbers. Torque readings compared to high/low limits
provide Cp/Cpk information.
