Torque
Display
The AWS-7000 Series Torque Display is a versatile readout series
designed to provide an economical way to measure (or in the AWS-7000CT
version, automatically tighten, measure, control, and record,) fastening
data for critical fasteners.
At the heart of the AWS-7000 lies the same precision electronics,
and cutting-edge software as our production and metrology grade torque
testers. Some of the advanced design features include:
- A 24-bit AD converter with no analog circuitry to drift.
- All filter settings rated to Nyquist frequency. This all be
eliminates roll-off error.
- Independent CW and CCW calibration with multipoint linearization.
- Optional control output lines can be used for controlling a
motor, air solenoid, alarms, etc.
- Width: 5.5 "
- Height: 2.75 " (with mounting foot)
- Depth: 6.5 "
- Weight: 2 Lbs.
- Operating Temp: 0-50°C
- Battery Input Power: NiMH
- Line Input Power: 12 VDC
- Bi-directional accuracy of ±0.5% of indicated reading
with AWS transducers.
- Eight (8) available engineering units:
Oz.in., Lb.in., Lb.ft., Nm, cNm, KgfCm, gfCm, Kgf m
- 3 modes of operation: Track, Peak, and 1st Peak.
- RS-232 output.
- Key-lock for tamper-proof operation.
- Intellect interface with transducer means any Intellect transducer
can be added to the display without recalibration: all traceable
to NIST.
- Rundown Fixtures available through 1,000 Lb.ft.
- NiMH rechargeable batteries provide at least 8-10 hours continuous
use.
- Selectable power tool filtering speeds: 125Hz, 250Hz, 500Hz,
1000Hz, 1500Hz and 2000Hz.
- Can be calibrated to virtually any manufacturer’s strain
gauge transducers including pressure transducers.
- For testing click, dial, and digital wrenches, plus most power
tools including impulse and DC electric.
- Visual limit alarms.
- 4 active digits means greater resolution and accuracy at the
low-end of the scale.
